Hi there! I am so glad you have found the The Well-Educated Artist! I am Miranda and I am a scholar/educator by trade and an artist at my core.

Once upon a time, a young girl had to make a choice between going to a top 10 university or to follow her passion to art school. Practicality ultimately won out and after 2 masters, several professional licenses, moving around a lot, and homeschooling her daughter, The Well Educated Artist was born!

There is a time for everything. Seasons change and old passions that never really went away come to the forefront. For me ars enim vitae – art is life!
